Everyday Matters Bible for Women (Book Review)

The Everyday Matters Bible for Women is filled with practical encouragement to make everyday matter.

Many thanks to the author and CWA for providing me a free copy of this bible in exchange for my honest review.

Everyday matters bible for women is a beautiful bible with collections of personalized writing from leading Christian thinkers of today.  Topics addressed in these authored snippets are focused on matters that apply to the modern women regardless of the many hats and roles they juggle in day to day life.  Examples of specific issues addressed that were particularly timely for me included “Persistence of Prayer” focusing on the issue of continuing to pray for the same thing even when the request seemingly goes unanswered and “Connecting Our Pleasure with God” which recognizes that the good in life is a blessing and gift from the Lord for which we should rejoice.  This bible highlights 24 spiritual practices including acceptance, bible study and meditation, celebration, community, confession, contemplation, faith, fasting, forgiveness, gratitude, hospitality, justice, mentoring, outreach, prayer, reconciliation, Sabbath and rest, service, silence, simplicity, solitude, stewardship, submission, and worship; each identified and organized by unique icon.  This exemplary bible would make a wonderful gift for the Christian woman in your life and is highly recommend for personal use.  The only improvement that would have benefited the women in my family would be a tab system to make it quicker and easier to locate specific books and passages of interest.
